Narrative Editing

Let’s be honest. We started making films so we could do narrative work, and this is where our passion lies. Below is a collection of our narrative projects. Enjoy.

Black Ice

Black Ice is a comedy short in the format of a 'mock trailer’ about the world’s first African American Olympic Curling team. It tackles the issue of race while playfully paying homage to 80s sports films like Cool Runnings and Rocky.

Directed and edited by Brent Bishop & Gregory Tuzin, written by Dwayne Perkins (Take Note Netflix Special). Starring Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall), Baron Vaughn (Grace & Frankie), Tone Bell (Disjointed), the Sklar Brothers (ESPN’s Cheap Seats), Rawle D Lewis (Cool Runnings), Gale Harold (Deadwood), Bashir Salahuddin (GLOW), and Allan Havey (Mad Men).

Balloon Animal

Balloon Animal is an independent feature. It’s a slice of life, set in a family circus, about a woman’s decision to leave. We worked with the team to find the best moments and build a film that we are all proud of. For a more detailed breakdown of the process we have a case study available.

Directed by Em Johnson, Produced by Monica O’Hara, Ruvi Leider, and Katherine Waddell

Premiering at the Manchester International Film Festival
