Installations
We have been creating Live Event Installations for Social Media featuring celebrities for over 10 years. These projects are fast paced, exciting, and beautiful. This feature walks through what goes in to making them: from incredible set design, to on set directing and photography, to post production.
A few of our clients are: HBO, Golden Globes, Emmy’s, Veuve Cliquot, Tom Ford, and more.
“Wow, this team is so pro. We didn’t even have to think about them. Everything just worked.”

THE PRE
The team develops and pitches ideas for set design based on the theme of the event, series, movie, etc.
CHALLENGE: This process happens 1-3 weeks ahead of the event. A design is chosen, fit to the space and developed. The set is constructed, moved to location, and finished on site; usually day of the event.
THE PRODUCTION
On the day of the event we bring a cinema quality production team shooting photography and film. The team includes: producers, director, photographer, cinematographer, DIT, art director and more. Every detail is attended to.
Generally, we work with the client to dial in the color look before shooting, so everything looks gorgeous from the get go.
CHALLENGE: Making sure the pipeline to the post team is efficient is the biggest challenge, which we’ve solved with carmera to cloud technology. Given that we usually have same day delivery, making sure the edits and retouching get started as soon as possible is paramount.
“They really provided everything necessary to make a top level production. For a company like us, that really matters. We work to the highest aesthetic possible and they are a perfect match for us.”
THE POST
We provide a Post Producer, drive runners, an editorial staff of 2-6 editors, and 2-3 retouchers, depending on the size of the event and number of deliverables. Our lead editor assigns edits, organizes footage, and reviews all final cuts before they are passed to the post producer for immediate upload. Edits go live within hours of the event on all social media platforms in any and all necessary formats, and sizes.
CHALLENGE: We never want our post team to be waiting, but the reality is that shooting, processing content, and transferring it to drives takes time. When the first deliveries need to start within hours of the event, It’s imperative to reduce this gap as much as possible. One way we have solved this is by having multiple people in each role. A second technique is running camera to cloud technology so the footage can hit the editors work stations as it is being shot. High res versions are delivered within 20-30 minutes on a hard drive, but with the low res cloud proxies the editors can start working immediately.
